Work: This subject centres on the study of “The Forty Hadīths of al Imām al Nawawī” with the additions by Ibn Rajab, covering fifty ḥadīths on foundational principles of Islam and well-known jurisprudential principles. The compilation encapsulates fifty noble Prophetic traditions, serving as fundamental principles of the faith. Engage in virtuous pursuits by immersing yourself in the study of these hadiths, with a focus on reading, understanding, and implementing the Sunnah in your life.

The subject entails a comprehensive study of the original Arabic words of the hadiths, along with translations, providing expert scholarly opinions and explanations from authoritative commentaries to strengthen your connection with the Sunnah and the scholarly tradition.
‘Aqīdah: Beliefs and Theology, designed to deepen your understanding of Islam’s core beliefs. Follow a systematic path to strengthen your ʿAqīdah through three enriching modules, progressing from foundational beliefs to examining proofs and preparing you to counter opposing forces like other religions, sects, and methodologies.

Key Beliefs Module:

Work: Explore the universally accepted treatise “ʿAqīdah al Ṭaḥāwiyyah” by al Imām Abū Ja’far al Ṭaḥāwiyy al Ḥanafī al Miṣrī.

This short but pivotal work covers the core beliefs of the Salaf, providing a clear path for those adhering to Ahl al Sunnah wa Al Jamā’ah.

Religion & Sect Module:

Dive into diverse religions and sects with insightful class notes from our dedicated teachers. Explore histories, origins, core beliefs, proofs for and against, and effective rebuttals, gaining a nuanced understanding of major world religions and sects.

Modern Isms Module:

Work: Engage with “Al Madkhal Al Wajeez” (English) by Ml Muineddeen Hassem- a compendious introduction to the study of modern isms.

Unravel the impact of Western hegemony on Islamic perspectives, addressing ideologies like secularism, liberalism, humanism, and scientism, ensuring a profound understanding aligned with authentic Islamic principles.
Fiqh: Jurisprudence: Fiqh, the study of Islamic jurisprudence, involves a detailed examination of Qur’anic and Sunnah extracts. It addresses life’s challenges by providing detailed solutions and guidance covering worship (‘ibādāt), financial dealings (mu’āmalāt), social interactions (mu’āsharāt), and includes references to contemporary issues. Practical demonstrations will be incorporated as needed to enhance your learning experience. This course will instruct Fiqh based on the Hanafi School.

Work: The study will include ‘Tasḥil al Ḍarūrī of the Masāil of Qudūrī’ by Muftī ‘Ashiq Ilāhī al Muhājir al Madanī, translated by Muftī Afzal Hossen Elias.
